George Mendoza leads operations and compliance at Presidio Capital Management. He spent more than twenty-four years at large financial institutions across fintech, commercial banking, and consumer businesses where he led compliance, risk, and control functions in regulated environments, built control frameworks from the ground up, and maintained thousands of business processes. That work required both designing the standard and holding the discipline to keep it in place.
He is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
At Presidio, George is responsible for the infrastructure behind the client relationship: onboarding and servicing, custodian coordination, billing and account administration, and the books-and-records, marketing, and disclosure controls a registered investment adviser is required to maintain. His focus is building processes that stay accurate as the firm grows — so advisors stay with clients, and the experience doesn’t get thinner as the book gets larger.
George lives in Phoenix Arizona and enjoys spending time with his family including five sisters and seven nieces and nephews. He looks forward to his daily runs with Koda, his nine-year-old German Shepherd, lifting weights, and learning.
